About this tool

One keyword list, six platforms, six different conventions. Instagram wants up to thirty hashtags, LinkedIn reads better with five, Facebook with two or three, and Pinterest prefers plain descriptive text over tags entirely. This formatter applies the convention for the platform you pick and converts your keywords into hashtags, comma-separated tags or a readable keyword sentence.

How it works

Your list is trimmed to a sensible ceiling for the chosen platform, then converted. Hashtag output normalises each phrase into valid tag syntax with camelCase for readability. Tag output lowercases and joins with commas, which suits YouTube's tag field and most CMS tag inputs. Sentence output composes a readable line containing the keywords, which is what Pinterest descriptions and LinkedIn posts actually benefit from.

  1. 1Paste your keyword list, one phrase per line.
  2. 2Choose the destination platform.
  3. 3Choose whether you want hashtags, comma tags or a sentence.
  4. 4Generate and copy the formatted block.

Example

Input

film photography, 35mm film (Instagram, hashtags)

Output

#filmPhotography #35mmFilm

When to use it

  • Reusing one keyword set across a multi-platform campaign.
  • Converting research output into a YouTube tag string.
  • Producing a Pinterest-friendly description sentence from keywords.
  • Keeping tag counts within platform conventions automatically.

Tips

  • Put your most important keywords at the top of the list before formatting.
  • Use sentence output for Pinterest and LinkedIn, hashtags for Instagram and TikTok.
  • Run hashtag output through the Hashtag Cleaner if the source list had punctuation.

Limitations

The per-platform ceilings are practitioner conventions rather than hard rules, except where a platform documents a limit. Trimming keeps your first entries, so order your list by importance. Sentence output is mechanical and should be rewritten before publishing.

Frequently asked questions

Why were some keywords dropped?
The list is trimmed to the conventional ceiling for the platform you chose. Reorder your list so the keywords that matter most survive the trim.
Is the sentence output publishable?
It is a draft. It contains the right words in a readable structure, but you should rewrite it so it sounds human.
Which platforms have real limits?
Instagram documents thirty hashtags per post and YouTube ignores descriptions with over sixty. The other numbers here are conventions, not rules.
