Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 January 2026

This policy explains what Hashly does and does not collect. The short version: the text you type into a tool stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Tool input

Every tool on Hashly runs as JavaScript inside your browser tab. Keywords, captions, hashtags, URLs and any other text you enter are processed on your own device. They are not transmitted to Hashly, not written to a database and not visible to us at any point.

Results are generated locally and disappear when you close or reload the page, unless you copy or download them yourself.

Local storage on your device

Hashly stores a small amount of data in your browser's local storage so the site behaves the way you left it. This data never leaves your device and is not an account.

  • Your light or dark theme preference.
  • The identifiers of tools you have saved as favourites.
  • The identifiers of tools you recently opened.
  • Your cookie and privacy choices.

What we never store

We do not store the content you process with the tools, we do not require or accept account registration, and we do not sell or share personal data, because we do not collect it in the first place.

Analytics

Optional, privacy-respecting analytics may be used to understand which pages are visited and which tools are useful. Analytics load only if you allow them in the cookie banner, and they never receive the text you type into a tool. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie preferences link in the footer.

Advertising

Hashly may display advertising to cover hosting costs. Ad slots are disabled unless a publisher is configured, and any advertising technology loads only with your consent. Third-party advertising partners set their own cookies and are governed by their own privacy policies.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by a hosting provider that may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, user agent and requested URL, for security and reliability purposes. These logs are created by the infrastructure serving the page, not by the tools, and never contain tool input.

Your rights

Because Hashly does not collect personal data or maintain user accounts, there is generally no personal data for us to access, correct or delete. You can clear the local preferences described above at any time by clearing your browser's site data. If you believe we hold data about you, write to info@hashly.online and we will respond.

Children

Hashly is a general-purpose utility site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated date above will change with it. Material changes will be reflected in the cookie banner where consent is affected.
